LAHORE:
President Asif Ali Zardari has intensified efforts to reorganize the PPP in Punjab, issuing detailed directives of the organization during a series of high -level meetings with party leaders in LaHore.
During his visit to the provincial capital on Tuesday, Zardari, who also serves as co -chair of the PPP, instructed party officials to increase public dissemination efforts in Punjab.
He emphasized the importance of celebrating workers’ conventions in each district and ordered the leadership of the party that urgently completed any organizational structure pending in consultation with central leadership.
The president assured the party members that the PPP’s chapter would be restructured and would do it completely operational, including the appointment of a new president of the city.
Zardari also commissioned the governor of Punjab Sardar Salem Haider Khan and other high -level figures with door -to -door campaigns intensifications to promote the party’s manifesto and transmit the message of Bilwal Bhutto Zardari.
He emphasized the need to involve young people in the structures of the party and requested a comprehensive performance report on the provincial state of the party that will be presented within a month.
A day earlier, Zardari met with a PPP delegation from District Atock, directed by Governor Haider, in the governor’s chamber.
During the meeting, the president stressed the importance of national security, citing the long -standing support of the PPP to the Armed Forces during periods of elevated tensions with India.
He described the PPP as a party rooted in the working class, government employees and marginalized communities, and highlighted their historical contributions and sacrifices for democracy and national stability.
Zardari also accepted an invitation to visit Attock, extended by the district delegation.
In a separate meeting with the lawyer Aamir Hassan, a main leader of the party and member of the central electoral cell of PPP, Zardari reiterated the unwavering commitment of the party with the sovereignty and defense of Pakistan.
He accredited the former prime minister and founder of the PPP, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, with the launch of the Pakistan Nuclear Program and his daughter, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, with the progress of missile technology in the country. He described these achievements fundamental contributions to national security.
“Pakistan’s defense remains in strong hands,” said Zardari, adding that the vision of a unified India spread by Hindutva’s ideologues will never be realized. “Pakistan is united and indivisible. All federal units are firmly aligned under the national frame.”
In addition, he emphasized the need for political stability and cooperation between parties, pointing out the coordination of the PPP with the PML-N in Punjab to address public problems.
