Zodia Custody CFO Jonathan Hugh left the cryptographic firm earlier this year

The financial director of Zodia Custody, Jonathan Hugh, left the firm based in London earlier this year, said the company. Samuel Howe, the former company director of Operations, also recently left the cryptographic custodian, as reported by Coindesk.

“Jonathan has been a valuable member of the Zodia custody team during the last two years and we are still grateful for his deep experience, dedication and guidance during a high growth period for the company,” said a spokesman for the custody of Zodia in the comments sent by email.

“While such transitions are an integral part of business, our company continues to grow. In 2023, Zodia custody had 97 employees. Today, we have grown to 140 employees worldwide and 2025 will see us deepen our presence in existing markets and expand to new jurisdictions,” added the spokesman.

Hugh did not respond to a request for comments for publication time.

Before joining Zodia’s custody, Hugh was CFO of the Creator of GSR cryptocurrencies.

Before digital assets, he worked on basic products for ED & F Man and Noble Group, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Zodia custody is backed by Standard Chartered Bank (Stan), SBI Group, Northern Trust and National Australia Bank (NAB).
