- Zoom reveals new AI developments, including AI Companion 3.0
- Your AI notes to tool will also finally work on Google Meet and Microsoft Teams
- The “realistic” avatars are reaching a meeting near you
Zoom introduced AI Companion 3.0, the last evolution of its AI tool platform designed to accelerate tedious tasks and offer a lot of customization options.
The main capabilities of the SAUS AI Companion focus on converting conversations into actions, gaining context of meetings, chats, calls and emails.
But for the first time, Zoom ia agents will also work on other videoconference tools such as Microsoft, Google Meet and Webex teams, with the aim of making them even more useful.
Zoom’s partner continues to improve
A great approval for the interoperability police, Zoom’s artificial intelligence tools will work on all teams and Google will meet in September 2025, with the Webx support expected on a later date.
Notes will also work at meetings in person, and users can take advantage of agent recovery to find organizational information more quickly to add a greater context.
“With the AI Companion 3.0, our agent can understand the context, priorities and specific objectives of users to help them reduce noise, focus on what matters most and boost significant commercial results,” said CEO Eric S Yuan.
Among the long list of other improvements that are made to the Zoom’s ecosystem were a series of updates to videoconference, so it will no longer have an excuse not to present those annoying meetings.
Zoom described his next photorealist avatars generated by the “realistic” and the perfect solution for calls when participants may not be “ready for the camera.”
This occurs when companies are configured to unlock 60 fps box velocities and support for multiple simultaneous HD transmissions. Zoom rooms with HDMI connections with cable will be based on this with 1080p/60 fps and sharing 4K content from December 2025.
