Islamabad:
The National Assembly has approved a resolution that requests urgent and integral measures to reduce the population growth rate of Pakistan to sustainable levels.
The resolution was moved by the central leader of PPPP Syed Naveed Qamar in the camera.
Recognizing the serious implications of the alarmingly high growth rate of the population revealed in the 2023 population and housing census, the Chamber recognized its adverse impact on the state’s ability to improve the well -being of citizens, particularly when providing fundamental rights such as education, medical care, employment, housing and refuge.
