- Oracle is adding Gemini to OCI, starting with Gemini 2.5
- More models will also be added, including specialized as medlm.

Oracle and Google Cloud have announced an agreement to make available Google Gemini models through the generative generative service of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Oracle confirmed that the service would begin offering Gemini 2.5, but the company would continue to add more models for the generation of text, image, video, speech and music, as well as specialized models such as Medlm for medical care.
The company explained that customers could now use Gemini models, among others, to help them build their own AI agents to encode, automation, research and more.
Oracle Cloud now offers Gemini models
“Oracle plans to make available the range of Google Gemini models through the OCI generative service through new integrations with VERTEX AI,” Oracle added.
Although the models will continue to run on Google servers, it can be accessed through the Oracle cloud platform with customers who pay with the Credits of Universal Oracle, but the benefits of this association will be double.
For Oracle, it means that the company can expand its offer of models, including third party options, instead of boosting its own internal models, which makes it more attractive to wider audiences. With the deal, Google can also expand its business reach, turning Gemini models into more hands.
“Oracle has been intentional by offering the choice of the cured model for the company, which covers open and patented models,” said Oci Clay Magouyrk president.
The news occurs two months after Oracle reached a similar agreement to make XAI Grok models available to customers, and although many hyperscala cloud suppliers are fighting to ensure exclusive or preferential association future.
