Bajaur:
The district administration has imposed a curfew in 24 locations of Mamond Tehsil, Baja Tribal District, as part of an operation directed against the terrorists.
According to an official notification issued with the approval of the Interior Department of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the curfew will remain in force from 5 PM of August 16 to 5 pm on August 21.
The order strictly prohibits residents from leaving their homes or moving along the roads period. The authorities have warned that people who violate the restrictions will be responsible for any adversary incident.

Meanwhile, the army has launched emergency construction work on the Jarr bridge, which was swept by recent floods, disconnecting Dir.
The units of the Army Engineers equipped with heavy machinery and technical equipment have been sent to Bajaur to install a new bridge. The authorities said the work will continue throughout the day and it is expected to be completed in a few days.
Once the bridge is restored, the critical road bond between Bajaur and DIR will be reopened immediately for traffic.
