Journalist found dead in Sanghar

A Karachi -based journalist was shot dead in his car parked outside a restaurant in Hyderabad Road in the Sanghar district on Saturday night. SSP Sanghar Abid Baloch told the press that Khawar Hussain Bajwa’s body was found in his car driving. I was associated with Dawn News Channel.

Later, the police also found a gun, which the deceased held in his right hand, and a car bullet. According to the SSP, the bullet entered through its temple on the right side and left from the left. Baloch said it will be early to conclude the cause of his death, adding that a broader investigation has begun before reaching any conclusion.

Hotel staff, Mirchi 360 Sanghar, informed the Police that Bajwa entered his facilities twice and then returned to his car. The guard of a hotel told the Police that after realizing that the deceased had not placed any request and, nevertheless, the car was still parked outside his hotel, approached the vehicle and saw blood pushing from his head.

Later he called the manager and other personnel who contacted the Local Police. A CCTV camera installed at the hotel shows the journalist entering and leaving. However, there was no camera in the direction of his vehicle that could have helped in the investigation.

Bajwa was alone in his car and entered and left the hotel alone. SIG NAWABSHAH FAISAL BASHIR MEMON has confirmed that the gun found in his vehicle was licensed on behalf of the deceased. His brother -in -law based on Sanghar, Zubair Ali, in his version, recorded with the police, declared that they had no idea of his visit to his city on Saturday despite always informing them before coming to Sanghar.

His postmortem was held at the Sanghar Civil Hospital.

Ali reported that it is likely that Bajwa’s brother and headquarters in Pakistan on August 18, after which his body will be taken from the hospital for burial in Sanghar. The brother -in -law said he came to know his death through a friend who called him and told about the incident. Legal police officers and medications have not yet shared the initial findings of the postmortem report.

Prime Minister Murad Ali Shah realized the incident and looked for a detailed report by the Police Inspector.

Governor Tessori transmitted sincere sympathies to the afflicted family, calling for the death of the journalist a “great tragedy for journalism and society.” Provincial ministers, members of the journalist community, friends and family have also expressed shock and pain for the incident. They prayed for the deceased soul and forcibly to the family to support this irreparable loss.
