If you use the dark mode in Windows 11, you may have noticed that it does not cover the entire operating system, but it seems that Microsoft is finally filling the gaps.
Dark Mode is an option that can be selected in Windows 11 that, as its name, provides a dark background for Windows and interface elements (and some Microsoft stock applications too). So, if you are using your PC at night at night, you can avoid the hardness of traditional white funds, which can be a bit evident in low light conditions.

Specifically, it is the dialog boxes for file operations that obtain a dark background when the dark mode is lit, but the problem is that this work is not yet alive in the tests. It is still hidden at the bottom of the previous view compilation, and the filter enabled it using a Windows configuration utility.
‘File operation’ refers to the parties of the interface that appear when copying files on, for example, a USB adheres to a folder on the desktop, and there are also dialog boxes for when you eliminate the files (to obtain confirmation). Another example is the “denied access” warning box, as you can see below, in which it seems that Microsoft has not finished working, since the buttons are still clear gray.
Analysis: Dark times
So, this is still a work in progress, and is hidden in the preview at this time (which means that even the testers will not see it, unless they avoid it to appear as Phantomofearth has done). However, although it is not yet official, I cannot see that Microsoft does not advance with this change; After all, the company has to apply the dark mode throughout the Windows 11 interface.
In fact, the question is: Why has Microsoft take so long to implement a complete realization of the dark mode in Windows anyway? Dark mode was first introduced into Windows 10, in mid -2016 (as part of the anniversary update), but was unfortunately inconsistent at that time.
Since then, Microsoft has been working to incorporate the dark mode in more elements of the Windows 11 interface, there was a remarkable avalanche of activity in 2020, but let’s be sincere, progress has been painfully slow.
With luck, this is a sign that Microsoft is back in the box, and that more than the final touches will finally apply to the dark mode in Windows 11.
Given the time that this has taken, it could assume that the reason for the dark mode that remains in an unfinished state is because not many people use it, but I cannot imagine that this is the case, it certainly uses it. So get your skates in Microsoft: it really is not a good look that some bits of the Windows environment have been left in the cold (or should they be left in the evident light?) For so long.
