Only 3,500 Hajj share seats remain

Islamabad:

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and interreligious harmony announced on Monday that more than 114,500 applications have been received so far under the Hajj 2026 government scheme, leaving only around 3,500 vacancies.

Ministry spokesman Muhammad Umar Butt said nominated banks have received instructions to continue receiving requests until the remaining fee is filled.

He urged the intention of presenting the pilgrims to submit their requests at the closest banking branches as soon as possible. “The process will close immediately once the last 3,500 seats are taken,” added the spokesman.
