Hannah Berner set the record straight after joking about Blake Lively amid the actress’ lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
On Netflix Torch 2024: the barbecue of the yearwhich premiered on December 27, the comedian made jokes in her three-minute performance about the top celebrities of 2024, including Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s breakup, Ellen DeGeneres’ move abroad, Travis Kelce’s relationship, and Taylor Swift and many more.
In the special, he joked about Lively. “The word ‘c***’ was trending this year. I don’t think Blake Lively was that bad.”
The comment came after Lively’s recent legal move against her. Finish with us director and co-star Baldoni.
Noting the sensitivity of Lively’s current situation, the comedian clarified her story and revealed that the comedy sketch was recorded on Tuesday, December 17 before Lively’s fill.
“My Netflix barbecue prank was filmed before the news of the [complaint]. To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo,” Berner shared on her Instagram Stories.
For those who don’t know, Blake Lively recently accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a social media smear campaign against her.
