The Sun of Justice will rise, says Imran

Rawalpindi:

The former prime minister, Imran Khan, was allowed on Tuesday to meet his lawyer, Ali Bukhari, while his wife Bushra Bibi met his daughter and sister -in -law in the Adiala prison of Rawalpindi, where the couple is stopped.

However, the three sisters of Imran, Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, were denied access, which led the protests at night at night in a local restaurant. Later, the police took energetic measures and arrested six PTI workers. However, it was later reported that the police assured the Imran sisters that they would be allowed to meet him today (Wednesday).

Ali Bukhari, talking to the media after the meeting outside the prison, said that the founder of PTI remains firm despite the lonely confinement.

Bukhari said that six names had been presented to the authorities to obtain permission to meet Imran, but he was only allowed to meet the former prime minister.

He also pointed out that his client has denied access to newspapers and television, and he was not even allowed to meet his wife.

According to him, Imran insisted that “the Sun of Justice will rise” and urged supporters not to lose courage.

Separate, Aleema Khan told journalists at the police factory control point that orders had been issued against her and had not sought bond.

“Our brother is inside; arrest us too,” he said, adding that the authorities were not worried about Pakistan or the founder of PTI. He demanded answers to the incidents of disturbances of May 9, 2023.

“Bring CCTV images: they were cameras not installed in such important institutions [attacked on that day]? Those who stole the footage are those who set the buildings fire.

“Why should we apologize? It is they who must apologize to the founder of PTI. This injustice must end; the system cannot continue like this,” he added.

Meanwhile, the secretary general of PTI SALMAN AKRAM RAJA also lashed out at the authorities, saying that the court verdicts against PTI leaders in the cases of May 9 were based only on the testimony of two police officers who claimed to have entered Zaman Park with “invisibility limits.”

Speaking to the media near Adial prison, he said that the founder of PTI had remained in solitary confinement for four weeks by challenging an order from the Superior Court of Islamabad. He called the cases part of a conspiracy to involve the founder of PTI, demanding transparent investigations.

“On the basis of the testimony of two police, parliamentarians receive sentences of ten years and their confiscated properties. Even the British during the movement of freedom did not commit such excesses,” Raja said.

He revealed that Imran had ordered the party not to challenge partial elections in vacancies.

“Some leaders believe that we should participate, but for us, their word is definitive. Without knowing it, an additional consultation is not possible,” he added, noting that since March 25, the family and lawyers have denied meetings with the founder of PTI.
