South Park Episode 3 of season 27 has already been delayed for a week thanks to a planned break in the calendar, but judging by the progress of the first glance, it was worth the wait. It is a reintroduction towel, the speaking towel that is first seen in season 5. This time, it is ready to face the National Guard while visiting Washington DC, and I’m already fearing what is coming.
After its controversial premiere and a second episode that shows the Secretary of National Security of the United States Kristi Noem shooting puppies in a pet store, the Paramount+ Show is not containing anything against the current government of the United States. As expected, the beginning of season 27 has generated many public criticisms of those presented, which now includes a naked version of Donald Trump and a much smaller version of JD Vance. In any case, changing to Toille’s perspective is an incredibly intelligent movement.
While we still don’t know what will happen in South Park Season 27 Episode 3 In addition to the initial teaser of Toilie that leaves a bus in front of the United States Capitol (which you can see below), you cannot take a speaking towel as seriously as any human character seen facing political parodies. However, the program fans have long understood how much damage towels could do … and, frankly, I fear it.
Tourlie goes to Washington DC in South Park season 27 Episode 3, and that is dangerous
“Sickofancy”: The towel goes to Washington, the 27th season of Dcsouth Park continues this Wednesday, August 20 at 10/9c in Comedy Central and the next day at Paramount+. pic.twitter.com/hvzao5ii4dAugust 20, 2025
In its initial description of the character that can be found in the South Park Fandom, the towel “usually shows that it appears from nowhere to give towel advice to the citizens of South Park or giving.” If there has ever been a sensible decision for anyone living in South Park, I have not seen it yet, and my best assumption tells me that any advice given to our political parodies will fall into deaf ears or increase the situation. As you can see in the previous clip, the National Guard has been deployed in the heart of Washington DC, and President Trump also deployed troops to the capital in real life as of August 11, 2025.
It is likely that there are references to the insurrection of the United States Capitol of January 6, 2021, especially taking into account the famous DC Museum The Smithsonian changed the writing of an exhibition on August 8 to retract Trump’s participation in inciting violence. In short, it is the most popular national theme South Park I could have chosen to illustrate, and surely nobody leaves the other unharmed side.
Maybe I am too pessimistic and Tourlie can simply connect with her wipe as a lost son in the context of the tanks and the soldiers deployed, showing her the cultural offers of the city before something changes more. But let’s be sincere, that’s not what we are doing here. Since the towel is almost always high, it is better that I bet that Washington DC’s opinions about marijuana will also appear, and perhaps, only perhaps, we will see others also enjoy.
It will not surprise me if Paramount+ follows the steps of episode 2 and offers another exclusive scene after the credits, either to show more content that cannot be transmitted on cable television (South Park It is transmitted in Central Comedy) or to add new scenes that have created since the episode was originally sent. This is speculation at the moment, but I would say it is worth being attentive.
