There is a reason why New York Yankees are called Bronx Bombers.
In his 13-3 victory over the Rays of the Bay of Tampa on Tuesday in George M. Steinbrenner Field, the Yankees made nine homers. They became the first team in the history of MLB to have multiple games with nine or more homers, according to baseball journalist Sarah Langs.
The other time arrived earlier this season, when the Yankees reached nine homers in a 20-9 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on March 29.

The Yankees jumped on the opener of the Shane Baz rays immediately.
Aaron’s judge demolished a 92 MPH cutter 429 feet in the battery eye in the central garden for a 1-0 advantage.
He was the 40th home run of the Judge season and the fourth time in his career had reached the brand. The judge became the fourth Yankee with at least four seasons of 40 homers, joining Babe Ruth (11), Lou Gehrig (5) and Mickey Mantle (4).
The left gardener Cody Bellinger followed the judge and crushed another 92 mph 381 feet cut on the right field wall to put it 2-0.
The right gardener, giancarlo Stanton, joined the bombardment of homers, smoking a fast 99 mph 386 feet ball on the field wall of the right center to extend the advantage to 3-0.
The judge, Bellinger and Stanton hit consecutive homers in the third time that the Yankees have done this season. They became the first team in the history of the major leagues to hit three consecutive homers of first entry three times in a season (also on March 29 and April 29 against the Baltimore Orioles).

In the second entrance, the third base of the Yankees, José Caballero, homer against his former team, a two-run shot that did 5-0.
The Rays responded with two races in the lower half of the second entrance, but the Yankees immediately responded at the top of the third entry. The second Jazz Chisholm Jr. Rasted a curved ball of 85 mph 382 feet in the right field seats for an advantage of 6-2.
Stanton added his second homer of the night in the fourth entrance, an explosion of three races of reliever Ian Seymour that extended the advantage to 9-2.
The Ben Rice receiver was consecutive with Stanton when he added a solo shot to put the 10-2.

In the upper part of the sixth entrance, Bellinger knew his second home run, a two-run shot, pushing the advantage to 12-2.
Caballero crowned the night in the ninth entrance with his second home run, and the ninth home run of the Yankees game, with a solo explosion that did 13-3.
The Yankees (68-57) won their fourth consecutive game and will seek to extend their streak on Wednesday at 7:35 pm ET when they face the Rays (61-65) at the end of the two-game series.
