It is “the third time the charm” for the star of Indiana Sophie Cunningham fever, since it revealed that the WNBA fined her again for criticizing officiating in her podcast.
Cunningham, who was discarded during the rest of the 2025 WNBA season after tearing his MCL in Sunday against Connecticut Sun, told his coanfrerion “show something”, the star of reality and the complex journalist West Wilson, who received the fine for comments regarding the star guard of the Dallas Wings Paige Bueckers.
“I love Paige until death, do not misunderstand me,” Cunningham said in his podcast episode on August 13. “I think she is an infernal player and I would love to play with her someday, but those referees gave her every whistle last night. As if you couldn’t play her. That is so annoying for me.”

“I am officially 3 of 3 for being fined by the WNBA,” Cunningham said in the most recent podcast episode.
“For this? For the capsule?” Wilson questioned.

“They didn’t like my comment about Paige Bueckers … I didn’t even say anything wrong,” Cunningham replied.
Cunningham was first beaten with a fine worth $ 500 of the League for publishing a Tiktok where he subtitled “some officials” with synchronized words of the lips of Sabrina Carpenter’s successful song, “Manchild”, which were, “stupid. Or is it slow? Maybe it is useless.”
Then, after comments on officiating in the podcast debut episode, Cunningham received a fine of $ 1,500.

“If I were a referee, I know that I would be angry all the time. As, I do not say that your work is easy, but when it is a simple call just in front of your face several times, what are you doing? What are you doing?” Cunningham began in the debut episode.
“They are so inconsistent, as if that is one thing. If you are in the other team, and you are going to dirty the S — out of me, great. But let me do it … I think the players of the league and the new fans throughout the country are like, ‘What is happening with the referees?’ And I say: ‘I don’t know’.
Cunningham was in the middle of his first season with fever. His popularity shot earlier this season in a game against the sun where he protected Clark after the superstar guard was pushed into the eye.
Cunningham was expelled from the game for a fight under the sun’s ring, and from there, his presence on social networks has grown exponentially.

Cunningham was playing in a one -year contract and $ 100,000 with fever, which made a free agent at the end of this season.
The season ended with an average of 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in 30 competitions (13 openings).
