Rains, failures interrupting train schedule

Due to heavy rains throughout the country and other technical problems, passengers looking to travel by train have to wait at railroad stations for hours until they can board a train.

Many trains up and down they faced Wednesday, since the department had to deal with the emergency situation.

Pakistan Railways announced on Wednesday changes in the calendar of several trains that leave Lahore for Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other important cities, citing operating delays.

According to the Office of the Division Superintendent in Lahore, the Karakoram Express (42-grandajo) bound for Karachi (42-grandajo) will leave an hour of delay, leaving Lahore at 4:00 pm instead of 3:00 pm

The Karachi Express (16-Board) will experience a significant delay of 3 hours and 45 minutes, leaving at 9:45 pm instead of its slot scheduled for 6:00 pm.

The green line (6 below), which arrives from Margalla and continues towards Karachi, will leave Lahore at 9:35 pm, a 45 -minute delay since its original moment of 8:50 pm.

Meanwhile, the Millat Express (18-Bojo) bound for Karachi de Faisalabad will last 3 hours and 40 minutes late, leaving at 9:30 pm instead of 5:50 pm

The Pak Business Express passengers (34-Babojo) and Shah Hussain Express (44-grandajo) are accommodated in alternative trains for today, confirmed railway officials.

All other trains to Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other destinations are operating according to their scheduled times.

The Superintendent of Division Railways Lahore, Inamullah, has ordered that passenger facilitation staff remain present at the station at all times to help travelers.
