Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Friday to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affected by rains and floods is our collective responsibility.
Going to the media after the federal cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that compensation is being paid to the families of those who lost their lives during the rains.
According to the National Authority for Disaster Management (NDMA) of more than 700 people, it has been killed and almost 1,000 wounds in incidents related to the monsoon throughout the country.

Of the total deaths, at least 356 were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Karachi, at least seven people lost their lives as strong flooded neighborhoods, paralyzed traffic and caused generalized power cuts, which led the mayor to declare an emergency of rain.
He said that, under the supervision of the chief of the field of the Army Staff Field (COAS), Syed also Munir, the Pakistan army actively participates in help operations.
