Islamabad:
The journalist Khalid Jamil, based in Islamabad, was arrested by the National Cybernetic Fester Research Agency of his home in Islamabad City, confirmed Friday on Friday.
In a statement, Nccia said the arrest was made after “completing official procedures” and that more details would be shared later.
The sources said a case had been registered against the journalist earlier this year, without providing more details.
The reports of their arrest began to circulate on social networks on Friday night. The journalist Asad Ali Toor published in X, claiming that Jamil had been collected by officials of the FIA and the NCCIA.
