NYT Strands Today (game #538) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #538, are …
- LOTION
- BALM
- CREAM
- BUTTER
- GELATIN
- SERUM
- OINTMENT
- Spangram: moisturizers
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I really did not think about this edition of Strands, but it is interesting how many of the things we rub on our faces sound like food: cream, butter, gelatin, milk. Or maybe it should be incredible how many foods sound like things we rub on our faces?
Anyway, I am wandering, today it was a search for the different moisturizers formats: a spangram that I obtained after initially detecting the word “wet” and realizing that there were more.
First I obtained the lotion and from there I lowered the board in an anti -Horary sense without a fight or hooked, unlike when I rub my balm in my beard; That is a lot of fighting and hooks.
Yesterday Nyt Strands responses (Friday, August 22, game #537)

- LOVER
- RIVAL
- SPOUSE

- Spangram: It’s a mystery
