- Benq PV3200U is a 32 -inch 4K monitor with calibrated color screen for content creators
- It has an audio system 2.1 integrated with Woofer, but headphones can still be required
- A wireless access key allows users to make faster settings during edition
Benq has removed the wrapping of his new 32 -inch 4K monitor designed mainly for video creators who want a better audio than is generally in the middle range monitors.
The PV3200U screen combines a calibrated panel with an integrated 2.1 sound system. The monitor offers a 95% DCI-P3 coverage together with complete rec.709 and SRGB, with the aim of offering images consisting of all platforms.
With the factory calibration in Delta and ≤ 2, Benq says that editors can expect color stability, either producing Mac, Windows or mobile reproduction.
Wireless key
The M-Book and ICCSYNC mode are included to coincide with MAC devices more closely, which can help reduce unwanted changes once projects go beyond the editing stage.
While most monitors only include basic speakers, the PV3200U has a small 5W Woofer together with 2W dual speakers to produce a more complete sound. It is difficult to say without listening to action, whether good enough to replace the headphones for a detailed audio edition, so it is possible to try before buying.
PV3200U has a useful study mode designed to preserve audio details avoiding unnecessary processing, something that Benq says it will provide users with a precise reference point.
To reduce the disorder and simplify the configuration on multiple devices, the monitor uses a single USB-C cable to transport 4K video, transfer data and provide a load of up to 65 W.
A wireless access key is included, which provides users with faster access to settings during the edition.
Ergonomic support admits inclination, rotation, pivot and height adjustments, which should be useful for different work styles.
“Creators should not have to guess how their content will be seen and sounded once it is live,” said Peter Huang, president of Benq Corporation.
“Too often, postproduction color changes and Plan Hamper Youtubers audio editions. The precise color of PV3200U, clear sound edition and compatibility of non -seamless devices train creators to trust the creative process from the first cut to the final load.”
By combining color accuracy, integrated audio and simplified connectivity, Benq is positioning the PV3200U as an edge solution all in one for youtubers and the like, but if you can really eliminate the need for external equipment is under debate. Many creators will need to convince that a single screen can replace dedicated speakers and another hardware for critical work.
The PV3200U monitor is priced at £ 699 in the United Kingdom and is available to buy from here. There is still no word about global availability.
