Protest doctors at Abbasi Shaheed hospital on Friday gave KMC a three -day ultimatum to release their quotas or face a sitting out of their building.
Doctors have been protesting the lack of payment of salaries to the officers of the House of Representatives and postgraduate apprentices since Friday. On the second day of their protest, dozens of house officers and postgraduated boycotted to OPD.
They had not paid postgraduated during the past month, while the Chamber officers had gone without salaries for three months. The president of the Association of Youth Physicians (YDA) said that the newly appointed Chamber officers in the hospital face delays of up to six months every year upon receiving their salaries.
