Cal Raleigh’s dream season for Seattle sailors continued on Sunday, as MLB made a receiver.
The toleter who hits the switch, affectionately known for the fans of the sailors as “Big Dumper”, became the first receiver in the history of MLB to reach 49 homers in a single season, breaking the previous 48 mark of the star of the Royal Kansas City, Salvador Pérez.
Raleigh also did it with style, crushing his second home run in so many spin against the Athletics of Oakland in his home T-Mobile Park.

Raleight had already taken the head of Athletics Jacob López Yard at the bottom of the first entry, and had another chance in the following table, and did not waste it.
In the first launch he saw, Raleigh, hitting from the right side, lit a change that caught the plate too much and saw it navigate on the fence of the left field.

The faithful of the sailors went crazy in the stands, recognizing what Raleigh had just done. Raleight celebrated with his teammates on the bench, carrying the trident of the sailors, which is delivered to all the players who reached a homer.
Raleight was the leader of the MLB in homers with 47 entering Sunday, two ahead of the Philadelphia star Filis Kyle Schwarber. He extended that great fashion leadership, and the smile on his face said everything.
Pérez hit 48 homers during the 2021 season, timing it with the first base of the Toronto Blue Jays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for the leadership of the league that year.

At that time, Pérez broke a record of the long -standing MLB receptor, exceeding the 45 homers of Johnny Bench since 1970.
But Raleight has had a 2025 campaign, becoming the first main receiver to win the home run, which he won in July. He has had a sweet swing throughout the season, and the sailors have enjoyed every time he is connected with one, because it seems that he will simply not cool.
He is also helping Seattle’s postseason opportunities, since there are 2.5 Games from Houston stars for the leadership of Al West who enters Sunday. They also occupy the last wildcard position in the American League, with Pérez’s reais sitting 2.5 games behind.

In what is expected to be a heated race in September, sailors would love that Raleigh increases their total home run in the hope of obtaining their opportunity to take a World Series title.
