Islamabad:
The Central Committee of Ruet-E-Hilal announced Sunday that Rabiul Awwal 1447 AH was not sighted anywhere in the country.
Consequently, the first Awwal Rabiul will begin as of Tuesday, August 26, while the 12th Rabi Ul Awwal will be observed on Saturday, September 6.
The announcement was made after a meeting of the Ruet-E-Hilal Zonal Committee, chaired by President Mauula Abdul Khabir Azad in Karachi.
Representatives of the Department of MET, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other concerned institutions also provided their technical support in the matter.
