China greets the Pak Army as ‘Friendship Guard’

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Foreign Minister Wang Yi praised the Pakistan army as “a pillar of national stability and a” strong tutor of China-Pakistan friendship and cooperation “during his recent visit to Pakistan.

This recognition followed a high -level meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi and the Munir Marshal in Islamabad, on August 21. The Ministry said in a statement that Foreign Minister Wang said that Pakistan’s army had always firmly supported the implementation of an important consensus achieved between the leadership of the two countries.

The meeting took place during the official three -day visit of Wang’s Foreign Minister to Pakistan. During the visit, Wang also met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The visit came in the context of a large number of regional and international developments.

According to China’s Foreign Ministry, Wang told him to Pakistani to strengthen bilateral relations at a time of global uncertainty was very beneficial for regional peace and stability, emphasizing that China had always given the highest priority to Pakistan in his neighborhood diplomacy.

The Chinese Foreign Minister declared that despite the difficult circumstances, the link between China and Pakistan had strengthened. He added that both countries had established a lasting tradition of close friendship, the statement continued.

China would continue to extend full support to Pakistan to safeguard its regional integrity and national security, Wang said. He welcomed Pakistan’s lead role in world affairs.

The Munir Marshal declared that China remained the “iron brother” of Pakistan, and both countries have always supported themselves in times of joy and adversity, according to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The Strategic Association of China-Pakistan is as strong as a rock, he said, adding that keeping the friendly ties with China was a unanimous position of the entire Pakistani nation. He expressed gratitude to China’s leadership for his valuable contributions to Pakistan’s economic and social progress.

The Pakistan army is ready to actively promote anti -terrorism and security cooperation, said the Munir Marshal. He said that all the necessary steps would continue to protect Chinese staff, projects and institutions in Pakistan. He said that measures will be taken to strengthen China-Pakistan’s friendship and continue progress in the path of development.
