Ben Dinucci is living the difficult life of a field marshal of the official NFL and was forced to face the misery of being left in a list of 53 men to start the season once more.

Dinucci, 28, was a free not recruited agent when he joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2020. He played in three games that season and began one of those games because the quartbacks in front of him were injured or suffered the coronavirus.

He has not appeared in a NFL game since then, but he has certainly tried. It has bounced from one team to another trying to find a permanent place. The last heartbreak came at the hands of the Halcons of Atlanta. Dinucci, who signed with the team earlier this month, revealed that he was cut.

Dinucci published a photo of himself drinking a beer at an airport on Saturday while returning home.

“Not many beers better than the airport ‘I just cut off the NFL for the seventh time’ beer,” he wrote in X. “Trust me, you wouldn’t understand.”

Dinucci joined the Denver Broncos in 2023 after the Cowboys released him. He was also in the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints before the hawks. Dinucci played 10 games with the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL in 2023 as well.

Fortunately, Dinucci has proven to be a capable field marshal and could be found in a NFL list before the season ends.

For now, Dinucci said he is still in cameo for fantasy football reserves.

“Still shooting cameos for Fantasy Soccer Draft orders,” he wrote in X. “If you need someone who is a man’s man, then I am your boy.”
