The Saudi Low Costa Cyadeal carrier has expanded operations in Pakistan by launching scheduled flights to Peshawar and Islamabad, emerged on Monday.
The inaugural flight of Riad-Peshawar landed at Bacha Khan International Airport on August 25, where a welcome ceremony was held, including a cake cutting event attended by officials from the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA), the airport security force (ASF) and Menzies Ras.
Flyadeal will now operate flights twice a week from Riyow to Peshawar on Mondays and Wednesdays.
A day earlier, the inaugural service of the Riyader airline – Islamabad landed at Islamabad International Airport, with 65 passengers.
The plane was received with a traditional water greeting, and the return flight left with 172 passengers. Flyadeal will operate a weekly service on the Riyadh Route – Islamabad – Riadh every Sunday.
The PAA welcomed the expansion with approval, stating that the new routes would improve connectivity, facilitate trips for passengers and strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
