Islamabad: Salman Akram Raja of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Akram Raja has decided to renounce the general position of the secretary of the party, saying that he will meet with the founder of PTI Imran Khan tomorrow and asked him to relieve his duties.

“Today, there has been an incident that now requires me a clear decision. My life is an open book. None of my actions conflict with any principle. Tomorrow. [Tuesday]I will ask Imran Khan to resign the position, ”he said in an X publication.

The main lawyer was appointed general secretary of PTI last year in September, after the resignation of the leader of the Senior Omar Ayub.

Ayub had renounced the position in June.

Taking X, Raja emphasized that despite moving away from the party post, he will continue to offer his legal services to PTI at no cost.

“During PTI’s proof period, I entered the political arena along with legal assistance under the guidance of [Imran Khan]. My goal was to contribute to the struggle for the supremacy of the Constitution, law and democracy, ”he added.

Sources within PTI have revealed that Raja took a step after disagreement with Aleema Khan for the participation of the party in the next partial elections.

The sources said Aleem opposed participation in partial elections, saying that the decision was totally against Khan’s clear instructions.

According to the reports, Raja transmitted the position of the political committee and the voting breakdown to it. According to the sources, 13 members of the committee favored the partial elections, while 9 were opposed.

According to the reports, the disagreement left Raja discouraged, which finally caused his decision to depart from the key role of the party.
