As the new television program in Harry Potter is in process, Chris Columbus, better known for directing the first two Harry Potter Movies, apparently has moved away from it.
Explicitly, he, in an interview with VarietyHe said he is not involved with production: “No, I have done it, I saw my version. I have nothing left in the world of Potter.”
The filmmaker also intervened in the Anti-Trans opinions of the author JK Rowling. “Sometimes I like to separate the artist from the art, I think it is important to do,” he said.
“It’s unfortunate, what happened. I certainly don’t agree with what he’s talking about. But it’s sad, it’s very sad,” added the director.
