Devon Walker left his fans in shock on Monday after announcing his departure from Saturday night live.
The 34 -year -old comedian shared the surprising news on August 25 through social networks. In Instagram’s publication, Devon reflected on his trip in the NBC sketch comedy program and admitted that “he was sometimes toxic like hell.”
“For me, work in this industry feel like a lot of small marriages,” the long note began. “Some of them last a long time if we are lucky, but most of them are fleeting. Permanent until they are. That is the deal. You know what it is when you register.”
He wrote even more: “The program and I did three years together, it was really great.
“More than anything, I am really happy to have done it with Gary and Alex. N —— I really went from running a bar show to work together in 30 rock! It is something beautiful. I also look covered in that image and I feel that it is important that people know what I started,” Devon continued.
Concluding the note, the native of Texas added: “Anyway, I am about going to Japan. When I return, I am trying to be in a prestigious drama. Ideally, something with Julianne Moore. I hope you are hydrated and get some money today.”
For the unreserved, Devon first joined SNL as a highlight in 2022. Later, the comedian was promoted to the main cast.
