- The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could admit the inverse wireless load
- This would allow them to use them wirelessly loading their airpods or Apple Watch
- However, there are questions about whether Apple could achieve this while offering Magsafe
The iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max could have a characteristic that Android phones have offered for years, since a filter says that they could admit the inverse wireless load.
This advice comes from Fix Focus Digital, a source with a reasonable history, through BGR, and if it moves, then you could place its airpods or Apple Watch in the back of its iPhone and use it as a wireless loading steter, draining the iPhone battery a little to load these smaller devices.
It is likely that this characteristic also works with other iPhones, although surely it would take a long time to judge one, and significantly drain the iPhone 17 PRO that is using as a charger in the process. Even so, based on other inverse wireless load implementations, you can probably also load devices without apple.
The inverse wireless load is possibly a niche characteristic, but it is one that already offers many high -profile Android phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
The Magsafe problem
Interestingly, however, the Google Pixel 10 series has actually abandoned this feature in favor of magnetic wireless load similar to Magsafe. The company said that the magnets design meant that it was not possible to offer magnetic wireless load and inverse wireless load, so it will be interesting to see if Apple can achieve both in the iPhone 17 Pro series.
The fact that Google could not handle this makes us a little skeptical about this rumor, but this is not the first time we listen to the inverse wireless load that possibly reaches the iPhone 17 Pro, with a previous filtration that suggests that it could offer a loading power of 7.5W, which would not load a very fast phone, but it is still almost twice what some Android phones can handle.
However, both leaks simply say that Apple has tested the inverse wireless load in the iPhone 17 Pro series, so even if they are precise, it is possible that Apple will choose not to equip the phones with this function.
However, we should find out soon, since the iPhone 17 series is expected to be presented in September, with a source that points to September 9.
