Princess Diana’s journey has been compared to Sophie Wessex’s in a mind-blowing comparison.
The former Princess of Wales and first wife of King Charles has had a similar life journey to that of Sophie Wessex, wife of Prince Edward.
Royal author Katie Nicholl says OK!: “They were both blonde and beautiful, of course, but there’s also a parallel between the groundbreaking and often dangerous work Diana did on landmines through the Halo Trust,” says royal author Katie Nicholl. .
“Some of the work Sophie does is similar, particularly around raising awareness about vulnerable women in war zones and victims of genocide and sexual violence. These are difficult topics and not necessarily the kind of things we might associate with royalty. And yet Sophie is breaking stigmas by highlighting them in the same way Diana did.”
The comment was made after Sophie made a groundbreaking entry to Ukraine, becoming the first royal to visit the country after the Russian invasion three years ago.
