The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepen ties with the nations of North Africa, including Algeria and Egypt, through improved connectivity and an expanded cooperation in various fields.
The Deputy Prime Minister made the comments during a “significant interaction” with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty and FM Algelian Ahmed Attaf apart from the 21st extraordinary session of the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC).
At the meeting, they discussed the serious situation in Palestine, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian access, a high fire and lasting peace. The FMS stressed the importance of unity within the Muslim Ummah in these challenging times.
Give landed in Jeddah on an official two -day visit yesterday, where he talked about the Gaza notice of Israel during the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Ministers of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
DPM Dar reiterated on Monday the strong condemnation of Pakistan for the highly stairs and dangerous statements of Israel on the Palestinian land.
He said that the shameless audacity of the so -called Israeli cabinet, revealing his ominous plan to extend the total military control of Israel over Gaza, as well as the recent allusion of Israeli prime minister to the creation of a “great Israel”, provided a vision of the mentality of Israel and a rogue mentality.
In his statement in the 21st extraordinary session of the IIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Jeddah, DPM reiterated the call of Pakistan for a high immediate and effective fire in Gaza.
He assured the flow of humanitarian aid, the end of forced displacement, the illegal expansion of settlements and the annexation of the Palestinian land, the responsibility of war crimes and crimes against humanity and the implementation of international and humanitarian laws.
He said that the meeting was held again when Gaza bleed, under systematic, premeditated and deliberate violations of international law, including the International Humanitarian Law, the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the CIJ trial.
And all this was being committed with impunity for Israel, he said.
“Gaza has become a cemetery for an innocent life, as well as for international law, particularly International Humanitarian Law (DIH). More than 60,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the brutal military assault of Israel,” he added.
He said that the systematic orientation of hospitals, schools, UN facilities, aid convoys and refugee fields was not incidental; These were unbridled acts of collective punishment in view of the world.
“Gaza is supporting a large -scale humanitarian catastrophe. For almost two years, it has suffered indiscriminate bombing, a total blockade and deliberate deprivation and starvation, while violence and disposses are intensified in the West Bank and Jerusalem,” he added.
Giving also said, the so -called humanitarian system established by the occupation power was a cruel illusion, and added: “The famine is unbridled. Civilians are being shot while trying to collect food. The hunger crisis in Gaza has reached unprecedented and deeply alarming levels.”
