Islamabad:
The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has instructed the party that does not participate in the next paralyzed elections, advising parliamentary members who renounce all committees and refer the matter to the political committee of the party for the final consultation.
The instructions were broadcast during a meeting in the Adiala prison with their sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, as well as the leaders of the senior leaders of the Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja and the lawyer Ali Zafar.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Aleema said that Imran reiterated his firm opposition to the polls and asked all PTI legislators to renounce the parliamentary committees.
“The political committee will deliberate on the matter, but Khan Sahib has made clear its position: entering these elections would validate the illegal disqualifications and the selective justice we face,” he said.
“He told us to transmit a clear message: staying in lone confinement will not generate any results,” said Aleema. In addition, he cited his brother as reaffirming his resolution, saying: “I will not lean or make any treatment.”

While confirming that his brother was in stable health, he said he was experiencing an ocular condition that required medical care. “We are submitting a request to the court for your medical examination, and Pims doctors will soon make a check,” he added.
Aleem added that Imran denounced the current state of the media, stating that “the main media have lost credibility among the public” and was under state control.
In regional policy, he expressed opposition to the forced repatriation of Afghan refugees, qualifying him as a violation of Islamic values. “He said he was ashamed of how Afghanos were being treated,” said Aleema.
The founder of PTI also expressed pain for devastation related to floods in Buner and other areas, which underlines the need to appreciate the long -term importance of the Tsunami project of one billion trees.
As for personal complaints, Aleema and Uzma condemned the arrest of their children Shershah and Shahrez. “Shahrez is a businessman and has represented Pakistan in sports. What threat did he possess?” Uzma asked. Aleem added: “If you want to arrest someone, arrest me, but aim at our children reveals their fear.”

In addition, he revealed that Imran refused to accept the resignation presented by the secretary general of the Salman Akram Raja party, telling him to continue his responsibilities. He also dismissed the rumors of any friction between her and Salman Akram Raja, calling him a “trusted legal advisor and part of the family.”
Speaking separately to the media, Raja declared that his resignation had not been accepted. He confirmed that the political committee of the party would meet again later at night to end the strategy regarding partial elections.
“We discussed national problems, the situation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa after flooding, and the difficulties that Bushra Bibi faces in detention,” he added, noting that Khan remained compromised and composed despite the conditions of solitary confinement.
Meanwhile, Barríster Gohar told journalists that PTI was planning an important public concentration in September to demand judicial independence and Khan’s liberation. “It will be a manifestation for democracy and judicial freedom,” he said.
He also confirmed that the basic privileges of the Khan prison had been restored, including access to books and television.
