LG has silently listed a new 49 -inch ultrawide monitor on its Singapore English website before a potential launch worldwide.
The new 49U950A-W monitor combines an IPS Curvo 32: 9 panel with a 5120×1440 resolution, and is designed as a single screen alternative to dual configurations.
The screen admits a maximum update rate of 144Hz, which makes it an ideal creative work, and comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports, Displayport 1.4, a USB concentrator and a USB-C input with support for the 90W power delivery. The USB-C connection allows visualization output, loading and data transfer
There are no lightning ports
However, there is no Thunderbolt port on this monitor, which limits bandwidth and Margaritas chain options, which is particularly disappointing, given the 40 -inch LG ultrafine monitor, launched in June 2025, arrived with Thunderbolt 5 support.

A light sensor allows automatic brightness control, while Tüv Rheinland certification for low blue light should help relieve visual fatigue during prolonged use.
