Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are legally married after exchanging vows on September 28 of this year.
On Instagram, Wilson shared photos from the courthouse wedding and spilled all the details, including why they chose their home country to make it official.
“My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney! It meant my 94-year-old Grandma Gar could come, which was very special for us to have her included and it felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of year! she captioned the post.
The carousel featured photos of Wilson and Agruma posing in front of Sydney Harbour, as well as some group family photos.
He Pitch perfect The actress also gave a glimpse into the intimate wedding dinner on her Instagram Stories, including one with her 2-year-old daughter, Royce Lillian, whom she welcomed via surrogate in November 2022.
Wilson and Agruma were set up by a mutual friend and spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting in person, the actress revealed in May 2022.
The couple became Instagram official in June 2022, with Wilson writing, “I thought I was looking for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove.”
Wilson proposed to Agruma, a Los Angeles-based designer, at Disneyland in February 2023.
“I was surprised when I met Ramona. How deep the connection was and how instant it was,” Wilson recounted during a 2023 interview with People Magazine.
She continued: “When I thought I was really looking for a husband, I dated about 50 men in a year. I was always a bit of a girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time it was a romantic connection. So I thought, well, What if that was part of my personality that I was repressing and not exploring?
