Islamabad:
The Supreme Court rejected an agreement between the heirs and the defendant through the video link in a case of murder.
A three -members bank headed by Judge Hassan Azhar Rizvi heard the issue of consent between the defendants and the heirs in a murder case.
During the hearing, Judge Rizvi commented that it could not be confirmed through a video link if the heirs of the deceased entered the consent under pressure or by their own will.
Judge Naeem Akhtar Afghan commented that, unless the relatives of the deceased appear in the session in person and confirm the consent, there is no consent.
