The symbiotic has external rewards to increase shared safety

Symbiotic, a universal and competitor of Eigenlayer, has introduced external rewards, a characteristic designed to allow networks to offer their own token -based incentives to the stakers and nodes operators.

The new feature, presented on Wednesday, marks a step in the impulse of Symbiotic to make shared security a predetermined characteristic in modular block chain ecosystems.

External rewards provide protocols for a way of distributing tokens or native points directly through the symbiotic platform, placing these incentives along with the symbiotic points: the economic coordination mechanism of the protocol. The objective is to help the safety of starting networks, attract capital and develop incentive models without reconstructing central infrastructure. All rewards appear in an interface, giving stakers and taxpayers an integral vision of their economic participation in the networks.

“This launch is a crucial moment for the symbiotic and the wider shared security ecosystem,” said Misha Putiatin, co -founder of Symbiotic, in a press release shared with Coindesk. “Shared security is something we have been constantly building, and external rewards are evidence that this work is aggravated. Each new primitive or characteristic that we send strengthens the basis for others to be built.”

Several protocols are already using external rewards. Hyperlane, the interoperability protocol, is rewarding stakers to ensure their cross -chain warp routes with $ Hyper Tokens.

The universal stagnation frame of Symbiotic currently admits everything from liquid assets such as ETH to hybrid and native rethink models. By unifying rewards and safety incentives on a single platform, Symbiotic wants to become a cryptoeconomic coordination layer for a modular ecosystem.

“The launch of external rewards is based on Symbiotic’s mission to make Universal rethink the cryptonomic coordination layer for Multichain modular infrastructure,” the team wrote in a press release.
