The Miami Dolphins ended last season with an 8-9 record and could not qualify for the NFL playoffs. The disappointing year caused anger of some of the faithful of the Dolphins.
The general manager of the Dolphins, Chris Grier, spoke with the media on Wednesday, the day after cutting the list of the team to 53 on the deadline of the League. Grier talked about the general structure of the list that entered the 2025 campaign and also touched the state of specific players as week 1 is approaching.
But the media session took a turn when Grier revealed that Fan Angst had resulted in emails aimed at his children.

“If I’m out, people have always been respectful and kind, and simply say ‘hey, keep going. I appreciate you’. The boys of my face have been pleasant.

Grier recognized the anguish that the end of last season caused.
“And if I felt comfortable and said that I felt what things are, then I am an ah — … because I am not being realistic about where we are as a team and where things are going … after last season. I am frustrated as [them] We don’t win enough games last year. I understand that I don’t take things personally. When I’m out, people have generally been very positive and things for me. “

“I received some colorful emails from a couple of people …..[one] Waiting for my children to die of cancer, “Grier said.” That is fun. That is why I do not take very personal or real things because other people have other problems and things in life. “

Grier was elevated to the Dolphins General Manager post in 2016. He joined the franchise as an explorer in 2000.
With regard to the presentation of the Affairs list, Grier confirmed that the corner Cam Smith will begin the regular season in the list of injuries that are not football. Smith appeared in six games during the 2024 season.
Grier gave a positive update on the availability of the De’von Achane corridor for the first game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts. Achane has recently been counting on a calf injury.
“All indications for us is that Achane will be ready to go week 1,” Grier told journalists on Wednesday.
