Great news, Light’s war companions: Square Enix has just announced the official dates to Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival 2026.
In case you are new to the popular MMORPG, or that they are generally not unknown, Fan Festival (generally shortened to ‘Fan Fest’) is a biannual convention in person aimed at holding everything Final Fantasy 14. In general, you can expect challenges related to the game, musical performances, cosplay contests and the like.
However, the most important thing is that the Creative Studio 3 developer, including the game director, Naoki Yoshida, generally reveals the first details of Final Fantasy 14 Next expansion in Fan Fest. So, whether you go in person or not, you will certainly want to tune in if you are a game fan.
The first of the Fan Fest events next year will take place at Anaheim’s Convention Center in Anaheim, California, USA April 24, 2026. The second is three months later in Mess Berlin, Germany, in July 25. Finally, Makuhari Messe de Tokyo will be the host of the last three fans of admirers in October 31. Spooky!

In general, a two -day event, each fans festival gradually reveals more information about Final Fantasy 14 Next expansion. If next year’s events follow similar patterns, we can expect preliminary information and a fall in titles in the United States Convention. More detailed information, including new areas, works (read: classes), extended trailers and launch date will be revealed in European and Japanese events.
While we will not know the official release date of the next expansion for a while, we can speculate based on Tokyo’s Dawntrail Fan Fest, for the great expansion of the game. That took place on January 7, 2024, with the expansion that was launched approximately six months later, on July 2.
With the next fan of Tokyo’s fan that will be broadcast on October 31 to November 1, there are some concerns between the fan base that we cannot play Final Fantasy 14 Next expansion until mid -2017. That would be a lot of horrible time to wait, so hopefully, we can expect to play it a little earlier than we might think.
