The two leaders also discussed their views on regional issues.
The German Foreign Ministry had announced earlier this week that it would raise its prohibition of the entry of Afghan nationals after increasing legal pressure in the home and an impulse of Pakistan deportation.
Around 2,000 Afghans were approved for relocation to Germany under a program for people considered at risk under the Taliban government. These 2,000 individuals have been stranded in Pakistan for months, after Berlin stopped the initiative in the middle of a promise to limit migration.
The decision to resume migration occurred after several demands were filed in groups and affected Afghan people, questioning freezing.
This decision walks in the midst of the Pakistan movement to expel Afghan refugees before the deadline of September 1, which includes those part of the German relocation program.
