The star of the Dallas Wings, Paige Bueckers, requested more strict arms control laws on Wednesday after a shooting in a Catholic Church in Minnesota, left two dead and several injured.
The suspect was identified as Robert or Robin Westman, said sources of application of the law to Pak Gazette. He carried three firearms during the attack in the Annunciation Church in Minneapolis, the authorities said.

Bueckers, who went to Hopkins High School in Minnesota before committing to Uconn to play university basketball, went to the shooting before the Wings played the Connecticut Sun.
“I’ve been sending prayers … it’s really unfortunate,” he said, through Winsidr. “I hope there are more strict arms laws so that parents do not have to worry about sending their children to school, people do not have to worry about attending the church and all these places are safe.

“It is really unfortunate that armed violence remains a problem and there really is nothing to be done.
Police said 17 people were injured, including 14 children. Two of the 17 injured people are critical.

The authorities said the children who died were 8 and 10 years old.
