After more than a year of radio silence, Biohock Creator Ken Levine has finally emerged to provide an update on his next game, Judas.
In the first registration of developers of Ghost Story Games, Levine said the study is focusing all its efforts to finish the game and has decided to start having a more direct communication with fans, which will offer more frequent updates than before.
For this first update, Levine highlighted Villainy, a central feature of Judas That is essentially a system promoted by the choice that will affect who will become the villain of the three -characters game: Tom, Nefertiti and Hope.
“In JudasYour actions will attract members of the 3 Big 3 for you as friends. But ignore one of them enough, and become the villain, “Levine explained.” From there, they will have access to a new set of powers to subvert their actions and objectives. “
Villainy is just an example of how the 3 Big 3 can retaliate, and the “most dangerous and specific things of the character” will be revealed at a later date.
Levine also touched the game relationship system and once again compared it to Middle Earth: Shadow of MordorThe reactive nemesis system, explaining that Big 3 will observe the player and will have feelings about how he addresses everything, from combat, piracy, elaboration and how they interact with the other two characters.
“In JudasYou will meet these characters intimately. We want to lose one of them so he wants to lose a friend, “he said.” We want to play with that dynamic, and we want that choice to be super difficult. The 3 Big 3 will be competing for their favor and attention.
“They can bribe you, save you in battle, talk about the other characters and share with you your darkest secrets. But you eventually have to decide who you trust and who does not.”
Judas It still does not have a release date, because Ghost Story Games “is not ready to finish that”, but the game is expected to be launched on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
