Age seems to have been arriving at Deontay Wilder, but don’t tell him that.

The 39-year-old boxer was 42-0-1 in his first 43 fights, retaining his heavyweight title 10 times, but since then he has lost four of his last six.

Despite his recent skid, Wilder still believes that he has “stayed 10 years” in the game, and has his eyes in someone specific.

Rumors and speculation have constantly revolved that Wilder would eventually enter the ring with Jake Paul, and could make it happen.

“He has been persisting, the discussions, we have not achieved anything on the desk or anything like that. They are just rumors at the time, but if he was with the desk, I’m definitely depressed,” said Wilder News Digital in a recent interview. “If I arose, I would definitely accept it. I know that many of the fans would love to see it.”

Paul’s lonely heavyweight fight was last year against Mike Tyson, which took place at the AT&T stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. When asked where Wilder would fight against Jake Paul, Hawaii suggested, and wants the help of one of the best hospitality companies in sports.

“We may have to enter the place to get all the experience of how a blow feels!” Wilder said.

Wilder was recently associated with On Location, as he will be part of the VIP experiences for Canelo Alvarez-Terrance Crawford in Las Vegas next month.

“Man, I am anxious to be able to participate in the festivities and then be able to have the place in one of my fights. This fight of Crawford-Canelo in Las Vegas, man, will be a great show of a fight. It will be madness,” he said.

“And the official experience provider of this fight is in the place, which is the best way to experience everything, brother. They bring you more than ever to action, inside and out of the ring. And let people know that I will also be there in the place. I will be in the fight with the location meeting and dating the guests, and it will be good. I am looking forward to.”

Wilder’s last fight returned in June, one day before Paul’s last fight (both won). Every time it is his next fight, he will look for consecutive victories for the first time since 2019. At the beginning, he got into boxing because he had to pay the medical invoices for his daughter, who was born with Espina Bifida.

“Dad was not going to disappoint her, because he promised not,” Wilder said.

But now, he wants to be “selfish” and fight for himself.

“I have been taking care of people since I was 12 years old. I’ve never been single in my adult life. So, in my life, I’ve always been taking care of people. Always, and I still do it to this day! But at this time, I’m selfish,” Wilder said. “I have been selfless for a long time. You know, many people appreciated it, and many people don’t believe.

“So I have given, given and given, and at this time in my life, the second chapter comes, the oldest and oldest, you know, I am selfish. I deserve to be selfish at this time, because I spared my youth of being selfless since the age of 12, man. I am about to be 40 years old, and now I have become selfish.

Paul is ready to fight Gervonta “Tank” Davis on November 14, 364 days after his fight with Tyson, in an exhibition. Paul is approximately 60 pounds heavier than Davis, with six kinds of weight that separate both from each of his last fights.
