The governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, announced the donation of his five -month salary to help victims of recent floods, said Express News on Friday.
In a statement, the governor expressed solidarity with the communities affected by floods, stating: “In this hour of crisis, I am with the people who suffer due to the devastating floods.”

The governor also announced the establishment of a relief cell dedicated to the governor’s house to coordinate and supervise the aid activities, ensuring that timely support reaches the affected areas.
In a message posted in X, he asked all those interested to formulate a comprehensive strategy to combat the growing climatic crisis facing the country.

Tessori confirmed that trucks loaded with essential relief and tents are being sent to the districts affected by floods to provide immediate assistance to those in need.
In addition, he appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to build a national consensus on the subject, emphasizing that a coordinated strategy, beyond political interests, is essential to get the country out of the crisis.
