Deion Sanders is always prepared in the days of the game as a chief coach of Colorado, but a certain smell during the games at home still surprises it.
He asked Sanders, 58, if there was something unexpected in the Folsom field, the homemade stadium of Colorado and the member of the Hall of Fame of Professional Soccer did not hesitate.
“The smell of grass in the second quarter surprised me. As every game, I say, ‘Dang’. It seems like a quarter of ‘lighting’, do you know what I am saying? Sanders said in an interview with CBS Sports Colorado.

The eight -time Bowler said that it is not only the second quarter in general, but a certain point in it.
“As I am serious, there is a TV waiting time, it never fails, and I’m like, ‘Wow, what’s happening?’ “Because you know that I’ve never been high in my life, so that is something new to me,” Sanders said.

Sanders is entering his third season as chief coach of the Buffaloes and has a 7-5 record at home in his first two years. In 2023, Colorado was 2-4 at home. In 2024, buffalo improved 5-1.
This season will be the first of Sanders without Travis Hunter, the winner of the Heisman trophy last year, and his son, Shedeur Sanders.

Colorado will open his season at home on Friday at 8 pm et against Georgia Tech. Sanders can have a different list, but you can still have the smell of grass in the second quarter.
