The Filadelphia Phillies star, Kyle Schwarber, became the 21st player in the history of the MLB to hit four home runs in a game in the victory of the 19-4 team over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.
Schwarber, 32, established the record of the Phillies franchise with nine ranked races and assumed the advantage of home runs of the National League with a maximum of 49. His nine RBI gave him 119 in the season, leading the major league baseball.
Schwarber’s first explosion came at the first entry with the Philis following 3-0. The opener of Los Bravos Cal Quantrill hung a 2-1 curved ball that Schwarber hit 450 feet on the second deck to cut the advantage to 3-1.

The second homer three times All-Star was in the fourth entrance with the Philis up to 8-3. The Zurdo de Braves reliever, Austin Cox, hung a curve ball of 80 mph in a 3-2 count, and Schwarber hooked him 386 feet around the foul post for a two-run shot to put on 10-3.
Schwarber’s third homer also left Cox. With the philis above 12-3 in the fifth inning, Schwarber hit a fast 93 mph ball on the outside of the 378 feet plate on the wall of the left field to put the 15-3.
The Silver Slugger took a step forward in the seventh inning with an advantage of 15-4 and two runners. Schwarber scratched the reliever of the Braves Wander serum of 85 mph 407 feet for a three -run homer, putting his name in the history books.
“It’s great,” Schwarber said. “It was a fun night, a great atmosphere. I wouldn’t want to do it with a better group of boys than here.”

Mike Schmidt was the last player of the Philis to hit four home runs in a game, doing it against the Chicago puppies in April 1976. Schwarber registered the third game of four homers of the season, after Eugenio Suárez and Nick Kurtz.
“Simply cooperated,” Schwarber said. “You can do everything right and go, and you can do everything wrong and get a blow. I get some releases and put on some good changes.”
Schwarber had the opportunity for a fifth homer against a position player, but appeared against the third base of Los Bravos, Vidal Brujan.

“I stink against position players,” Schwarber joked. “All you are trying to do is get a good release. I got the launch. I simply checked it.”
Schwarber has 333 home runs in 11 seasons with puppies, Washington nationals, Boston’s red socks and philis. His previous race career was 47 in 2023 with Philadelphia.
