Junaid Akbar de PTI cited the chair pac

Islamabad:

PTI MNA Junaid Akbar has announced his resignation as president of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) after the instructions of the Imran Khan party founder.

“When Khan says he ends, for me the matter is over,” Akbar said in a statement on Friday.

Akbar said he never looked for positions for personal benefit, valued his self -esteem for the titles and that he would not bow to the generals or act for greed. When refusing to participate in “start polishing” for anyone, he said he lacked resources to execute media campaigns unlike others.

He depressed his comparison with former PAC President Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. Nisar, he said, enjoyed the support of the establishment against the PPP government, which allowed delicate reports to filter the media.

“During the current government, reports such as Toshakhana were deliberately held from the press and journalists admitted in private that they were pressured not to issue details during the case of Imran Khan,” he said.

Meanwhile, the PTI also formally announced a boycott of Punjab’s partial elections.

The party instructed its candidates to withdraw the nomination documents immediately, reiterating that it would not compete under any circumstance.

He also distanced the part of the people who presented nominations under his name, emphasizing that he had no connection with them. The party urged its workers and officers to strictly follow the decision of the boycott and declared that it remained focused on continuing its political and public struggle.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on August 26 instructed the party members to renounce all the parliamentary committees, said his sister Aleem Khan to journalists outside the Adiala prison after meeting his brother.

She said that the founder of PTI also issued directives to the president of PTI, Barrimer Gohar, and Secretary General Salman Akram Raja with respect to the next partial elections. “He [Imran] Said disputes of partial elections would only give legal justification to those surveys, “he added.
