- According to reports, a PlayStation 6 hand computer is on the way
- Information comes from a reliable hardware filter
- The laptop will supposedly be like the Nintendo Switch 2 and compatible with a dock
A reliable hardware filter states that Sony is working on a portable version of PlayStation 6, and sounds horrible like a Nintendo Switch 2.
This information comes from the YouTube channel ‘Moore’s Law Is Dead’, which has previously detailed PlayStation hardware before its official revelation.
The hand computer will allegedly driven by an AMD system in a chip (SOC) with a code ‘canis’ code. The filter states that Canis will have four Zen 6C nuclei and two low -power cores Zen 6 to execute system tasks.
Apparently, this will be combined with a GPU of an RDNA computer unit 5.
Interestingly, the filter says that the hand computer will be compatible with a spring, one of my favorite characteristics of the Nintendo Switch 2. In the portable mode, its GPU will be executed to 1.2GHz, which is then increased to 1.65 GHz when it is presumably coupled to admit a higher output resolution.
They also speculate on the potential price, arguing that it will be around $ 500 to compete with Switch 2.
Given the high cost of another Sony hardware, I think this price prediction could be a bit crazy, but we will only have to wait and see.
In related news, the company recently revealed a list of Yōtei PS5 ghost hardware and announced that it would increase the price of the console by $ 50 in the United States.
