Steam 2 may not reach 2028, or that is the last theory that floats from the rumor factory with respect to the sequel to Valve’s hand computer.
Kitguru noticed that Kepler has again dropped another rumor through the Neogof forums (there have been some pipites related to hardware this week), and it is a very short and not so sweet revelation that: “Steam Deck 2 is 2028”.
The comment arrived in a publication that is actually the Allied Asus Rog Xbox, when someone commented on buying one of those, the laptop arrives in October, with the possibility that Valve took something better in the near future (ISH).
Kepler quickly put paid to the idea that Steam 2 Deck 2 could be remotely on the horizon. If the filter is correct, we will be waiting for three years for the next version of Valve’s Gaming Portable, with it arriving six years after the original steam deck debuted, but that is, of course, a significantly considerable Yeah As I will discuss below.
ANALYSIS: Speculation extracted from AMD does not valve?
Obviously, this is just a rumor, and the nature of it, a single line line in a publication publication, should give more than a brief thought pause.

This is because Kepler is mainly rumors of GPU (or CPU) and, therefore, the probability is that they are based on the information extracted from an AMD roadmap, which refers to the expected chip that will be used as the engine of the next steam cover.
Therefore, that makes this speculation feel more than more trembling, but said that, Kepler has proven to be one of the most reliable fuits for GPU information, so he would not rule out this nugget in any way, in any way.
It is rumored that Valve is working on a steam cover 2, which is not a surprise, but apparently the development path could be long. In 2023, a year after the steam platform was launched, the expectation was a next -generation version of the Valve hand computer would not arrive for a few years since then, which means that people expected 2026, no 2028.
