The open receiver of the Miami Hurricanes, CJ Daniels, is already a candidate of the year after the victory of the 27-24 team over Notre Dame on Sunday night.
With 12 seconds in the first half, Daniels saved a possible interception released by the new Hurricane Campo Marshal, Carson Beck, while jumped in the air and hooked the ball behind his head with one hand, falling in the final area by six points.
The multitude of the Hard Rock stadium full of green and orange became ballistics, as celebrated by Miami number 10, which did 14-7 against No. 6 Notre Dame. Among them was the legend of Miami Michael Irvin, who was caught by Daniels’s acrobatic capture.

But Daniels’s grip assured tons of impulse for the local team, and that went directly to the second half when Charmar Brown scored with 7:23 remaining in the third quarter to take a dominant advantage of 21-7.
Carr was able to keep Fighting Irish in the game with a flip of a yard to Jordan Faison to put 21-14. But Miami had to increase the intensity a bit when Carr quickly tied the game to 24 each at the end of the last quarter with his first race touchdown.

Beck and the hurricanes had the opportunity to drive down and kill the clock in the process for the winning score of the game, and it was the perfect rhythm since Carter Davis nailed a field goal with remaining 1:04 to take the advantage of three points.
Carr had the opportunity to turn his solid debut into a very memorable one with a winning impulse of the game, but took consecutive bags followed by a false beginning in the offensive line of Fighting Irish with five remaining five seconds, effectively ending the game due to the runoff of penalty time.
Daniels finished the game with five trapped for 46 yards and the capture that he will never forget in the team’s house. Toney led hurricanes with 82 yards receiving in six trapped.
Beck had a first efficient game in a Miami uniform, going 20 of 31 for 205 yards and two touchdown passes with zero interceptions.

Meanwhile, Carr was 19 of 30 for 221 yards with two touchdowns and an interception launched. Eli Raridon had a maximum of 97 yards for Notre Dame in just five trapped, while the hurricanes kept the dynamic duo of Jadarian Price and Jeremiyah Love in control of their standards with 78 yards hurried in 16 combined holders.
The victory will certainly move the Hurricanes for the AP Top 25 classification, but we will see how far notre Dame slides after facing a hard opponent.
