ISLAMABAD:
Former Prime Minister and APP chief Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the challenges faced by Pakistan can only be resolved if Imran Khan and COAS General Asim Munir come together for dialogue.
Speaking to the media in Kallar Syedan on Sunday, Abbasi stated that the country will only progress when public opinion is respected. “The Form 47 results have reduced the election to a simple joke,” he lamented.
He noted that the army chief was the “highest power center of the country”, adding that the challenges facing Pakistan will only be addressed when Imran and the army chief sit together and engage in meaningful dialogue.
